Royal Berkshire Hospital Charity

Donate your unwanted foreign coins and notes today!

Did you know that you can help the Royal Berkshire Hospital raise much needed funds by simply donating any leftover foreign coins and notes? You can even donate old British and Irish coins as well as pre-Euro currency. In fact, you can donate ANY unwanted coins and notes from any country! So all those old £1 coins you have lying around, this is the perfect solution.

Foreign coins and low denomination banknotes can’t be changed at banks in the UK, so for many people these go to waste. So why not donate them to a fantastic cause today – the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

The charity is dedicated to providing better facilities for the local community. By donating unwanted foreign coins and notes you’re helping towards the purchase of vital extra equipment, the building of new facilities and helping to fund important research work.

The ‘Cash4Coins Campaign’ goes from strength to strength and Royal Berks have now received a staggering £40,000 in donations which goes towards enhancing care throughout the Trust. Every week the collection boxes are emptied and 4-5 kilos in coins and notes are collected. This is then converted into ‘real’ money and to see it is a real joy. Every penny raised helps this worthy cause. All unwanted useless foreign coins or currency goes a long way for Royal Berks.
